LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY

All medical, fire and criminal-related issues.  Examples:

• There is a fire
• A break-in has occurred
• There is someone unconscious in the hallway

NON-LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY

Anything that puts you as the homeowner or your building itself in imminent danger.  Examples:

• Flooding/water leak     
• No heat                                                                  
• Elevator not working
• Garage door will not close
